Bridge to Little Wedge

A temporary installation bridging the narrow water gap between the main landmass of Rabbit Island and the small rock ledge named "Little Wedge". Constructed using sandstone blocks from the immediate area, simple rope lashings, and large driftwood logs found around the shore of the island. Installed for the summer of 2012, the structure was eventually dismantled and the driftwood used to build Berg's Tower, a sculpture for the exhibition No Island is a Man at the DeVos Art Museum.

Specifications: Jacobsville sandstone, driftwood, natural fiber rope.
