Lí Máo Shān

A site-descriptive installation at Sanhe Museum in Hangzhou, China, named after the mountain located behind the museum. Made of salvaged timber found on site, the structure presented a simplified and scaled-down version of the mountain and its paths which were recorded over a series of hikes. Visitors were encouraged to summit the installation in lieu of access to – or time needed to climb to – the actual peak.
