Seven Summits (album)

An album with a single track recording compiled from several field recordings taken in October 2011 during the descents of the seven tallest mountains in Morocco's
Western High Atlas range.

Amongst the footsteps and clattering of scree, several mountain streams and waterfalls can be heard, the occasional bleat of a mountain goat, and the traditional singing of Berber guide, Houssein Chajaa.

The one-sided clear vinyl album has been laser-engraved with an illustration inspired by the GPS data used to determine the precise distance between each mountain peak. The outer sleeve, laser-cut and hand-assembled, features photographs of the seven summits of the aforementioned mountains.
